The ingredients in HAPPi Women’s Daily Iron + Lactoferrin target the gut, where iron is readily absorbed. Helping facilitate iron transport, increasing the amount of iron absorbed and making more iron available to your body.
Lactoferrin is an iron binding protein that transports iron to the natural site of absorption in the small intestine, helping to reduce gut irritation typically associated with iron supplements. Lactoferrin also naturally contains up to 20% iron, with research demonstrating it is well tolerated by women.

Iron bisglycinate is better absorbed than some other forms of iron, such as ferrous sulphate, if taken with food. It is low-nausea, lower constipation, generally well-tolerated and gentle on the digestive system.
Vitamin C helps support the absorption of dietary iron.
